Winning Brands 2008![]() The data on this site is a sample from the vast amount of unique information we have. Please contact us to find out more. 20 product categories are common to each of the 16 countries participating in the study. They range from mobile phone handset to pain killers. In addition, each country had the option to include a range of categories of their own choice (known as Local Categories). The winning brands (in each country) are the ones that receive the highest number of nominations in their category. There is no award for an overall winner across the 16 countries. However in certain categories we found that the same brand came top in many countries. You can see which these categories were, and the brands that won across 3+ countries, in the section Multi Country Winners. A list of the winners in each of the 20 “common” categories can be viewed in Europe Wide.
